How we work

The right support. At the right stage.

Engage WGR for independent consultancy, a development project or ongoing production and delivery. We agree the scope, outputs and next steps around your business.

Choose the support you need

A defined project. A clear next step.

Consultancy, development and manufacturing are available as distinct engagements. Start at the stage that fits your business.

01

Define the brief

Tell us where you are, what needs to change and the result you want. We explore your customer, menu, operation and commercial priorities.

What you leave with

An agreed brief and a suitable service route.

02

Agree the project

We set out the work, fees, responsibilities, deliverables and intended timetable. Confidentiality and use of project outputs are agreed where relevant.

What you leave with

A clear scope before work starts.

03

Review, develop & refine

Consultancy combines the agreed research and operational review. Development adds recipe work, samples and feedback. We discuss findings and choices with your team.

What you leave with

Recommendations or recipes ready for your review.

04

Approve & hand over

We record agreed decisions and provide the outputs in your project scope. This can be the end of a standalone consultancy or development engagement.

What you leave with

A practical handover to your team or chosen suppliers.

05

Plan production, if required

If you choose WGR manufacturing, we separately agree specifications, trials, quantities, costs, ordering and delivery requirements.

What you leave with

An approved route into regular supply.

06

Review the next stage

Ongoing consultancy and manufacturing partnerships include the reviews agreed in their scope. We revisit priorities as menus, volumes or locations change.

What you leave with

Clear actions for the next stage of your business.

Before we begin

The questions worth asking.

Can we start with advice rather than a finished brief?

Yes. An initial discussion helps identify the challenge and an appropriate paid consultancy scope. You do not need a finished recipe or manufacturing order to approach WGR.

How long will a project take?

Timing depends on scope, information availability, sampling and any production trials. We agree a project timetable and explain dependencies before starting.

Can our existing team or manufacturer use the work?

Yes. We can scope consultancy and development for implementation by your team or chosen manufacturer. Deliverables, recipe rights and any handover support are agreed at the outset.

Who handles services outside WGR’s scope?

Nutritional testing, photography, branding and packaging services are not supplied by WGR. We can recommend external specialists for you to engage separately.

Will WGR publish our recipe or name?

We discuss confidentiality and project permissions at the outset. Sharing a brief is not permission to use your recipe or business identity in our marketing.

A conversation is where it starts

Let’s agree the right starting point.

A business challenge, a new menu or a production brief. Tell us what you want to achieve. We’ll help you identify the right support.
